I love down coats. I currently own two down vests and one down jacket. I don't know that I would have made it through winters in Bellingham without them. While these jackets are wonderfully warm and comfortable, they are usually on the more casual end. I recently found these cute down coats from GAP and J.Crew that are both winterly warm and stylish. For me, this is a great combo of the classic feel of wearing my trench or pea coat with the comfort of wearing a down jacket. Both are currently on sale!
I love puffy jackets/vests too! The two you picked look like they will be classics for years to come!
