P.S. if you haven't read either of these, i highly recommend that you do!

Ouidad

Loving my new Ouidad (pronounced wee-dod) shampoo from Sephora. I think I need to buy the conditioner too! I'm always on the hunt for good wavy/curly hair products and this is by far one of the best shampoos I have used. I always switch back and forth from pricier hair products to drugstore brands as to not drain my bank account on hair products. I have found that for the most part, I can get my hair looking just as good with either!

mish mash.

It's been a few weeks since I have posted anything and I have really missed getting on line. I have had so many post ideas, but just haven't had time to write them down. I hate that! The next upcoming weeks are HUGE for me. I recently became a homeowner with my fiance and this weekend I get to move into the house! I am SO excited to live in a house that I own with the love of my life.

We are also approaching May, which means WEDDING MONTH!! We are getting married on May 30 and it is approaching SO fast. After all of the ups and downs of wedding planning, I am SO ready for the day to be here.

And...here is what I am wearing today. I got this dress at H&M for $14.95!!! What a deal! I have been waiting for the weather to be warm enough to wear it, so I was SO excited when I woke up and it was sunny outside. These shoes are my favorite flats. I got them last year at GAP and they are starting to stretch out (see the little gaps by my heels). Even though I hate that they are getting worn, I just can't stop wearing them.

tranquil flow...no.

When I first saw the Tranquil Flow Tunic on Anthropologie's website I think I actually gasped out loud. I HAD to have this. I loved everything about it. The color, the print, the tunic - LOVE! Unfortunately, for my bank account it was $118. I had patiently been waiting for it to go on sale and last week it did! I went to the downtown Seattle store to purchase it, but when I tried it on I didn't fall in love as I first did when I saw it online. I hate that. The size 0 was a little tight and the size 2 was a little big and I just didn't feel the print was that great on me.

I. Was. So. Sad.

I tried to talk myself into buying it anyways because I had once loved it so much, but thankfully due to my new shopping rule of, if I don't LOVE it as soon as I look in the mirror I don't buy it, I left empty handed. Although I am sad that this piece didn't work out for me, I am happy that I stuck to my rule and know I won't regret buying sometime I wouldn't wear as often as I should.

what are you drinking...

I'm pretty content drinking the office-made drip coffee every morning, but sometimes it is a starbucks kind of day. When I do venture out of my black coffee or black tea mornings, I'm sure to order one of these. No matter the coffee shop, I rarely order something different than the following:

- Tall Soy Chai
- Short 1/2 Pump Mocha
- Double Tall Americano
- Venti Black Tea Lemonade (unsweetened)
- Double Tall One Pump Vanilla Latte
- Double Tall Iced Latte with Honey

I'm always intrigued by everyone and "their drink," so tell me - what are you drinking?

Project Runway - Anthony.

I was SO sad when Anthony was sent home on Project Runway two weeks ago. I loved his work and especially his personality. You just never knew what would come out of his mouth next!

Last week, I was shocked and sad to see Maya quit the competition. She is very talented and I love a lot of her designs, BUT I knew that with her gone, they would bring back the last person to be sent home...WELCOME BACK ANTHONY! I was so excited that he was back on the show. And to top it all off, he was one of two winners for the night with this gorgeous dress. I can't wait to see Jessica Alba in it!

honeymoon shopping...

Kenny and I just booked our honeymoon and I couldn't be more excited! We are going to Turks and Caicos and staying at The Regent Palms.

Now that we have our destination and the trip booked, I have moved on to thinking about packing (yes, i start thinking about packing months in advance...)

Here are some pieces I have my eye on that I think would be great tropical honeymoon wear:

(equally cute in Navy and Grey)

all of these bright nail colors from Essie (from J.Crew.com) would be perfect for the beach

Jersey promenade gown from J.Crew.com
(currently deciding between the dark pewter and sheer lilac)

pairing this classic black top with these bright bikini bottoms would be a perfect combo

and of course, some practical and adorable cover-up options from Nordstrom.com
